Gov’t admits objective values can’t change now

In the center of Athens, the market rates for newly built houses are between 3 and 33 percent lower than the objective values, depending on the area, while older houses see a spread that ranges between 20 and 70 percent. In the capital’s northern suburbs, market prices for older apartments lag objective values by 3.5 to 60 percent, depending on the location, while the going rates for new houses are either just above their objective values or down by up to 15 percent.

O'Dowd approves increase to enrolment at Augher Central Primary School

  1. On 18 November 2013, the Southern Education and Library Board (SELB) published Development Proposal No. 298 which proposed to increase the approved enrolment at Augher Central Primary School from 80 to 115 pupils, with effect from 1 September 2014, or as soon as possible thereafter.

Motion to end School Board dispute dies in council

<p>Ocala City Councilman Brent Malever wants to end the protracted dispute between the city and the Marion County School Board regarding the fire and stormwater fees the city claims it is owed by the schools. Peterborough’s Voyager Academy rated as inadequate by Ofsted

The 1,383-student Voyager Academy, which is overseen by the Comberton Academy Trust, has been criticised by Ofsted for poor exam results, inadequate teaching and it highlights the poor behaviour of students who disrupt lessons and the poor management.

Resort schools’ cash boost

The Government says the new minimum funding level will be based on five pupil characteristics: a basic per pupil amount; pupils who are from deprived backgrounds; pupils who have been looked after; pupils with low attainment before starting at either their primary or secondary school; and pupils who speak English as an additional language.
